War

We all have an opinion about war and in these aphorisms God challenges us to revisit and rethink those opinions. Within one of the aphorisms God states that war can never be claimed as holy, or wholly necessary. What this means is that war is of evil origin, evil intent. This reality is clearly described in the aphorisms on evil and in particular the following: 'Evil will always find an excuse to further its cause, which is to intimidate mankind incessantly', and 'Make no mistake, evil will take up a position on both sides of a dispute, thereby advancing inflexible attitudes as a breeding ground for chaos'. As for the phrase 'wholly necessary', this is also covered by the following aphorisms: 'Evil waxes when mankind accepts sinful acts as desirable', and 'Evil wanes when mankind denies sin access into daily living'. In other words if the great majority of people see sin as evil and through God's grace resist it, war as a solution to disputes would not be necessary. However, if a large number of people accept sinful acts as desirable, wars are inevitable.

'The world is at war, a vile war, because too few and less and less of My children say thank you to Me and mean it.'

'War is a risk and can never be claimed as holy, or wholly necessary.'

'Pride, the breeding ground of quarrels and wars.'

'If the world wants peace, not war, it must promote the strengths of humility and denounce the weaknesses of pride, pride that broods over every cherished grievance imaginable.'

'A too pragmatic approach to human disagreements can result in foolish quarrels and wars.'

'When the Ten Commandments are blatantly compromised the results will be quarrels and wars, the ultimate of social disorder and injustice.'

'War results from a widespread lack of honest compassion.'
