It is a sad fact that the truth is often compromised. From the beginning of human history this has been the case, but it would be fair to say that in these present times dishonesty and intrigue have become a plague.
'The pillar upon which harmony rests is the pillar of truth. There can be no lasting agreement without truth. I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I am your reference in all things both spiritual and temporal. Seek always to be truthful, so that your love for Me and your brothers and sisters can be in constant harmony.'
It would be easy to simply moralise about this prophecy but apart from the moral aspects so clearly stated, the use of the structural analogy is worthy of some study.
A pillar is an "upright" structure of stone, metal, etc, that supports a superstructure. The superstructure in this message is harmony - from the Greek, "harmos", a joint - and that is the connection.
