Bullying
The following aphorisms highlight many of the dangers societies throughout the world are now facing because of the ever increasing and widespread use of intimidation, as a weapon of subjugation. Bullying has always existed throughout history and was effectively and cruelly used by many tyrannical dictators both nationally and internationally. For too many it was, and still is, part of life in the home, at work, on the street, at school and through religious intolerance. This offence against human freedom and dignity has always infringed God's law that we 'love and respect one another'. Now God wants this evil to be fully understood, by both the perpetrators and the victims, so that over time it can be stamped out of our lives and replaced by the virtue of goodwill.
'Bullying is a complex, intimidating attitude developed through the influence of, and surrender to, the evil of chronic arrogant vanity.'
‘Bureaucratic power at all levels must be tempered by duty to people’s well-being both in general and in particular, so that the discipline of office does not evolve into overpowering intimidation.’
‘Governments that pass legislation which benefits in any way the actions of bullies are on the side of evil endeavor and the members of such governments who vote for the legislation will be held responsible in My sight.’
'There is no place in My Kingdom for unrepentant bullies.'
'Do any of you really believe that anyone who upholds the use of intimidation as justifiable would enhance the peace and joy of the Kingdom of Heaven.'
For anyone who may be struggling with bullying, the following prayer may be helpful.
